Our current Associate Director for Processing and Verification will be moving over to a Senior Associate Director Position in the UI College of Law, so we are hiring! Join our team! Here are some overarching details, followed by a link to the job posting:
The Associate Director, Processing and Verification will provide leadership to the team that processes, verifies, and corrects student’s applications for financial aid; the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form that students and parent(s) complete annually. You will also have an opportunity to:
- review and interpret federal regulations about the federal methodology used to calculate a student’s need for financial aid
- implement and provide oversight of the Return of Title IV Aid calculation (R2T4) for students who withdraw, compliance with any ISIR comment codes, V1, V4, and V5 verification requirements, and any verification changes required by the Department of Education
- counsel and advise current and prospective students and parents regarding financial aid policies, procedures, application processes, and financial aid options as needed.
- represent the Office of Student Financial Aid at outreach events, including the presentation of financial aid information at various on and off campus events
- supervise and lead a team of advisors and the records/office manager administrative services coordinator
