Salary is $49,817.00 Annually.
The Financial Aid Advisor duties include:
- Maintains current knowledge of Financial Aid regulations and guidelines.
- Is responsible for one or more of the following:
- State Awarding and Reporting
- Loan Processing
- Default Management Program
- Work-study coordination
- Direct Loan and Pell Reconciliation
- Exercises Professional Judgment regarding financial aid eligibility.
- Provides support to Student Support Specialists and other staff regarding financial aid questions.
- Advises and assists applicants, students, and parents regarding high level financial aid topics. May assist with other financial aid questions as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- One to three years of experience in financial aid or related experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven aptitude in accounting/bookkeeping procedures required.
- Must have experience using computer database and word processing.
